Hi! Happy you’re here!
I’m Katie Kloth (she/they), a Wisconsin based actor, director, and playwright born and raised in Wausau, WI. I am also a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with my BFA in Acting and BA in Arts Management.
I fell in love with storytelling from a very young age when I first watched The Sound of Music, my go to movie throughout my childhood. I remember the first time I saw live theater, I knew I loved theater. It wasn’t until years later I was in my first production when I discovered I wanted to be a storyteller for the rest of life. I love telling all types of stories, but my favorites inspire reflection in ones self.
I found my passion for directing and playwrighting while at UWSP which opened a new pathway to create and share stories where I get to orchestrate and build a world from the ground up and I find it exhilarating!
When I’m not creating on the stage, I am often still creating! I am an avid crocheter and knitter. I also love to play my guitars (Adelia and Rhea), and going on coffee dates with my friends.
